Mr. Opio Robert Vice Chairman, Oyam District and Mr. Masaba of Lira District appreciates the technical team and want to work with His Excellency the President to push the Agro-Processing, Value Addition, Small-Scale industrialization for rural development, as a production system to start the journey industrialize Uganda. Vice Chairman Opio, on behalf of the region want to fully patriciate in the project and add value to the crops they grow. They need Cassava Processing factory to manufacture different products including; modified Cassava Starch Enhances cassava’s industrial and technological applications. Modified starch undergoes chemical, physical, or enzymatic treatments to improve resistance to heat, acid, and shear. It’s used in advanced industries like oil drilling, food processing, and paper. It extends cassava’s value chain into high-tech and export markets.   Processed food product for beverages and desserts. These chewy balls made from cassava starch are popular in drinks like bubble tea and desserts. Their production boosts the commercial use of cassava starch, opening markets in food service, retail, and exports, especially in Asia and urban regions worldwide. They also need cleaning and sorting equipment, oil extraction machinery (like expellers or presses)
